Winter Concert Reminders December 9th, Hoover City Schools Performing Arts Center

6th Grade Band Information

  • Students should be in their seat by 6:00 PM and the concert will start at 6:15 PM.

  • All students (including tuba and percussion) should bring their instrument home on December 9th to bring to HHS at the new Performing Arts Center (first building on the right when you get to the high school).

  • Students should assemble their instrument in the car and leave their case in the car.

  • Attire!

    • "Sunday Best" these are some guidelines that have helped people in the past.

      • Boys: dress pants, dress shoes, polo or dress shirt.

      • Girls: school appropriate dress, school appropriate skirt, nice top, dress shoes.

      • NO SWEATPANTS, JOGGERS, JEANS, CROCS, OR TENNIS SHOES. This is a formal concert and we want everyone to look nice 😃

7th and 8th Grade Band Information

  • Students should be in their seat by 6:45 PM and the concert will start at 7:00 PM.

  • The order for performances will be Jazz Band, Concert Band, Honor Band.

  • All students (including tuba) should bring their instrument home on December 9th to bring to HHS at the new Performing Arts Center (first building on the right when you get to the high school).

  • Students should assemble their instrument in the car and leave their case in the car.

  • Attire!

    • Concert Band: Girls- black dresses (provided by band), black dress shoes (provided by the student). Boys- black dress shirt (provided by band), black dress pants, black dress socks, black dress shoes (provided by the student).

    • Honor Band: Girls- black dresses (provided by band), black dress shoes (provided by the student). Boys- white dress shirt, jacket, bow tie (provided by the band), black dress pants, black dress socks, black dress shoes (provided by the student).
